ECHO patrol log with Team HONR - Feb 8th 2020

From the Emerald City Heroes Organization's Facebook page:

ECHO Patrol Log: 2/8-9/2020
Location: Capitol Hill Neighborhood, Seattle
Roll Call: Red Ranger, SkyMan, Dragon, Justin Service (Team HONR), Khimera (Team HONR), Operatives of Washington Safety Team
Patrol in Capitol Hill began around 2300 and was primarily peaceful. Aside from greeting fans and doing some minor deescalation and crime deterrence, we were able to help some people who had had too much to drink find their way safely home.
We did have one major deescalation at around 0230, when a man-made racist comments towards a group of people of color, and the two groups moved in to brawl. We stepped in and prevented anyone from getting hurt and told the aggressive party who had made the racist comments that his kind of speech was unacceptable and to leave the area and after some convincing, he did just that and everyone went home without injury.
Peace and harmony prevailed.

ECHO's January 15th 2020 Patrol

On January 25th of 2020, members of the RLSH team ECHO Skyman, Dragon, and Red Ranger went on patrol. Here are their patrol logs:

At least I made it through the first leg of our patrol last night.
We started off doing the downtown corridor and into Belltown as that's where the shootings from earlier in the week took place and we wanted to see what presence there was.
The only thing of real note was a drunk and belligerent who wanted to play 'musical chairs' with a couple of Metro buses. And I'm sure all those commuting folks wanted to do was make it back home. We kept eyes on the situation and made sure the commuters got back on the bus to go. Mr drunk and belligerent snuck himself onto the other bus they were shuttling the commuters to so we stepped in between and made sure he didn't the second time around.
Other than that, only a couple of small instances of de-escalation.
As it was pouring down rain at this point I decided to stay in the van as the others wanted to make a sweep through Cap Hill.
Nothing much to report back from that either.
All I learned?!
I'm out of shape and need to fix that one. Personal motivation has, and will probably remain a big issue for me.
Peace and Harmony Prevailed.

Video footage from last night's patrol.
We happened upon this situation just after 2330 where a man was being violent and refusing to get off a city bus. We helped transit security and the deputies from the sheriff's department facilitate moving civilians off of the bus he was on and onto another bus so they could continue their ride while the belligerent party was dealt with. Unfortunately, the aggressor kept switching busses as well, running back and forth between them, so we had to repeat this process a few times before he finally decided to comply.
Peace and harmony prevailed.

Our Washington Safety Team was out last night with Emerald City Heroes Organization and encountered a drunk / drinking male on two King County Metro Transit buses. He was drinking on the bus. The passengers were great and cooperated with us, echo, and kc metro transit supervisor. The male left after two King County Sheriff's Office came. #Seattle #StaySafe #BeObservant
